All Nightforce riflescopes are designed and built to meet rigorous military standards, ensuring they are rugged, reliable, and repeatable in the worst conditions. Nightforce’ s MIL-SPEC riflescopes receive an additional pressure test, equivalent to a submersion depth of 275ft, to ensure they will function in dive and jump operations specific to military users. We understand the specific combat needs and the cost of failure for our military users, prompting the additional testing to make sure a Nightforce MIL-SPEC scope will withstand any mission.

This testing is critical to ensure the integrity of the internal components against the effects of rapid temperature and pressure fluctuations encountered by HALO (High Altitude, Low Opening) type troop insertions, as well as covert waterborne insertions at submarine depth. All MIL-SPEC riflescopes are 100% inspected both before and after environmental testing procedures to ensure consistency, repeatability, and to prove the integrity of the product at every stage.

Nightforce MIL-SPEC products (“M” prefix part numbers) are not normally available for sale to the commercial market. Force Ordnance offers custom Nightforce configurations of MIL-SPEC products to meet the specific contract needs of professional end users.

NX8™ riflescopes build upon this hard-earned reputation. The NX8 family was designed to provide excellent optical performance throughout the remarkable 8x magnification range in the most compact and capable package possible. To achieve this, our optical designers chose to utilize ED glass elements in these designs, which allow for a short optical path while maintaining optical clarity.

Nightforce goes to tremendous lengths to make Rugged, Reliable, Repeatable riflescopes. However, the performance of our riflescopes is only as good as the rings or mount holding the riflescope and the base attaching it to the firearm. Heavy recoil, rough handling, and harsh environments can cause issues with poor quality mounting components.

Nightforce Rings, Mounts, Bases, and Accessories are designed and built to Nightforce’s demanding standards of precision for those looking to maximize the performance of their riflescope.
